Search

We provide three main areas where Red River College students and faculty may locate resources: Within our Libraries, in other Libraries and Online.

Search for Materials Within Our Libraries

Books, Publications, Videos

The Online Public Access Catalogue - OPAC, for short - is a database of information about the books, journals, government publications, DVDs and streaming media accessible through by the Library. Click here to go to the OPAC Search Page.

Search our Web Site

Search our web site using the search box on the upper right. You will discover information about services we offer and program related research guides we host on this site.

New Materials

You may also browse lists of new materials recently added to our collection.

Electronic Journals and Web Sites

The OPAC also provides links to relevant web sites and individual electronic journals (e-journals). In addition, the following site lists journals freely available on the Internet.

Course Reserves (Reserve Readings)

Instructors may place specific items relevant to a course "on reserve" in the Library. These items are available for short term loan and are subject to fines if returned late.  Search Course Reserves

Other Online Resources...

The Library subscribes to a number of online encyclopedias and dictionaries. Some of these require passwords and are available only to RRC students and staff. The list also includes a number of resources freely available on the Internet, including online tutorials for effective Internet searching.  ...Go to Online Resources
