The Learning Commons Help Desk is open to students and staff of the College as well as members of the public.

Services
Staff in the Buhler Learning Commons provide assistance with:
- General software applications questions - All Microsoft Office programs, Web Design Programs, Accounting Software
- Programming software questions - Educational Assistants (E.A.s) are scheduled at the Help Desk to help you with programming courses
- Research and Writing - Staff are available to assist with researching and proofreading.
- Technical problems - The Help Desk offers support in setting up and accessing College resources including e-mail, Web-CT, Web Advisor, network drive mapping and domain logins.
- Hardware repair - IT Solutions staff are available to work on any laptop repairs required.
Learning Commons staff maintain a website with current information on schedules and services. The Website provides these useful tools:
- Announcements include important information and alerts.
- E.A. Schedule is current for the term. It lists the educational assistants for the CAP and IST programs and when they are available at the Help Desk.
- Events Calendar includes college closures and other important dates.
- Exam Schedule lists the mid-term or final exams for the current term.
- Laptop Info includes instructions on how to configure your College-issued laptop.
- Laptop Repairs provides up-to-the-minute information on the status of your laptop when it is in for repair.
- Technical FAQS includes information on laptops, student card access, software, and accounts.
