Books and reports
Many databases include full-text books and reports in addition to periodicals.
Ebsco A-to-Z retrieves these items as well, and there is no easy way to separate them from periodical listings.
This is a nuisance when all you want is periodicals, but on the positive side these items can be helpful sources of information.
