Web Search Tips

Use the "advanced search" function. Limiting your search words to web page titles eliminates a lot of junk (you use the shortcut "allintitle:" with your search terms to do this).

Also, you can use the Domain limit to restrict your searches to particular web sites (for example, "gc.ca" will restrict your search to Government of Canada web sites).
