ASC: Supports for Students - Tutoring

Booking a TracCloud Appointment

Step 1: Searching for available appointment times

To search for an appointment on the TracCloud schedule, follow these steps:

  • Go to and log in with your RRC Polytech username and password, if prompted.
  • Go to the Schedule an appointment with the Academic Success Centre section of the page.

Choose a Subject and/or Service Category.

For COURSE TUTORING appointments: Select a SUBJECT, then choose TUTORING SERVICES from the services list. For other ASC services, just choose an appropriate SERVICE CATEGORY.

Select a reason from the category that matches the service you are looking for.

  • Academic Coaching & Study Skills - Peer Coaching, Technology Literacy Help.
  • Questions about ASC Services - General help or questions about ASC supports and services.
  • Tutoring Services - Tutoring with ASC staff and peer tutors, 1:1 and group sessions.
  • Writing Centre - Writing consultations with ASC staff and peer tutors.

Click 'Search...'. This will bring up a list of appointments matching your search criteria.

Step 2: Selecting an appointment time

Scroll through the list of available appointments and load more available time slots, as needed.

By default, the matching appointment times will be listed by earliest available on the schedule and will list both in-person and online appointments. To limit appointments to specific days, or to only see online or in-person sessions, click the [...] menu for more options.

Once you have found what you are looking for, click the appointment slot to book the time.

If you are unable to locate a time that matches your needs, you can click the 'Report Unable to Find an Appointment' to notify the Academic Success Centre.

Step 3: Entering details and booking the appointment

  • Review the date, time, subject and reason selected for the appointment.
  • Describe what you would like to work on in the Notes.
  • Click 'Save' to book the appointment.

Finished! Your appointment with the Academic Success Centre has now been booked.

You'll immediately receive a confirmation email to your student email account containing the appointment details and staff contact information. You'll also receive an appointment reminder email the day before your appointment.
