This video describes how to navigate my IBISWorld from the homepage. Some details concerning personal accounts and bookmarking items are included in the video, which is out of context for RRC users, as institutional accounts do not have that functionality.

Users can navigate from the home page using the main menu dropdown selected under Industry Research or through the main search bar. Menu navigation allows users to select reports, summaries or profiles from regions Canada, US or Global.

Users can choose between the search field in the top menu bar, or the main search centered on the My IBISWorld homepage.

When entering your search in the main search field, the system will generate a list of related industries.

Search Terms

Search Terms

When searching, use the keywords to describe the industry. if you do not find what you want, try thinking of different ways to describe your topic.


Transportation: try searching for taxi & limousine or public transportation. 

Gemstones: mining, minerals, etc. 

Cellphones: communications equipment manufacturing; wireless communications carriers, etc.

When navigating within a report, users can browse using the left side menu, or search within the report using the search field located at the top of navigation menu.

This function can be used in both Industry Reports and iExpert Summaries.
