Appointment Booking Rules

  1. Appointments may only be booked between 24 hours and seven days in advance.
  2. Students may book up to two 30-minute appointments per week for English language support. 
  3. Students may cancel appointments without penalty up to 24 hours before the meeting.
  4. Appointment cancellations are not permitted less than 24 hours before the meeting.
  5. Appointments that are not attended will be logged as MISSED appointments.
  6. Students that have missed three appointments will be blocked from booking tutoring appointments until they have met with the Tutoring Supervisor to clarify attendance expectations.
  7. If the tutoring session is online, Webex is required for connecting with English Language Tutors for all online appointments. Students must log in to Red River College Polytechnic's TracCloud shortly before the appointment time to access the link to the tutor’s online Webex meeting room. (The Webex meeting link will be available 15 minutes before the meeting start time and until the end of the appointment).

Booking an Appointment

  1. Go to https://success.rrc.ca and log in with your College username and password.
  2. Click the "Schedule an appointment with the Academic Success Centre" widget.
  3. In the Choose a subject dropdown menu, leave this as "Choose a subject..."
  4. In the Choose a service/reason dropdown menu, select English Language Supports.
  5. Select the option that best fits your tutoring needs and click Search.
  6. Click the appointment slot you wish to book, complete the form as instructed, and click Save to confirm the appointment.
  7. You will immediately receive an appointment confirmation email in your student email inbox with instructions on where to meet your tutor (for in-person appointments) or how to meet your tutor (online).
