Writing support via email is available to Red River College students. Email support can help in many of the same ways as in-person tutoring while accommodating your busy schedule!
How does it work?
Send your writing assignment and assignment instructions to firstname.lastname@example.org and indicate for which pages you are requesting feedback. Please note that email support is limited to two (2) pages of writing at a time.
Please also include your questions for your email support tutor. You will receive a confirmation email shortly after sending.
A writing tutor will provide feedback, comments, and suggestions about your writing sample, specifically aligned with the questions you have provided and the assignment instructions.
Once confirmed, your email support tutor will have your assignment returned to you within five (5) business days. Emails received outside of normal hours will be responded to the following business day.
Send your assignment instructions and outline and/or draft to email@example.com and indicate the pages you would like your tutor to review. Please ensure you request support at least 5 days before the assignment is due so that the tutor has enough time to read and give feedback on your writing.
