Writing support through email is available to Red River College Polytechnic students. Email support can help in many of the same ways as one-on-one tutoring while accommodating your busy schedule!
How does it work?
Fill out the form below, then wait to hear back from your tutor in 3-5 business days. You will receive a confirmation email of your submission. Please note that with a 3-5 business day turnaround, make sure to submit assignments well in advance of assignment due dates.
What will the feedback look like?
A writing tutor will provide feedback, specifically aligned with the questions you have provided and the assignment instructions.
Is this a proofreading service?
This is NOT a proofreading service, but we will help you to develop strategies to edit and revise your writing. For example, when grammar is a concern, the writing tutor will highlight some examples, provide a model of how to address this concern, and include additional learning resources.
Should I use this service or see a tutor?
If you have written a draft and you feel very unsure whether what you’ve written meets the assignment requirements, we recommend booking a one-on-one tutoring appointment in TracCloud. Your tutor may recommend booking a follow-up appointment if they require further clarification regarding the assignment instructions or your draft.
