Writing tutors help students at all stages of the writing process including: planning and preparation, draft writing, revisions, referencing, and formatting. We also support students who are simply looking to improve their general writing skills.
Please be aware that while we help students with editing and revising, we are NOT a proofreading service and will not do a student’s work for them. Our goal is skill development and helping students become independent writers and reviewers of their own work.
Students are asked to bring the following to a tutoring appointment:
Writing tutors can work with students synchronously through the Writing Help Desk, or asynchronously through email writing support.
All tutoring appointments are currently delivered online via WebEx or MS Teams.
