The “Get to Know the Writing Centre” LEARN module is a short, writing centre orientation activity that guides students from the Library and Academic Services webpage to the ASC Writing Centre. The module provides students with an overview of Writing Centre supports and how to access them. Supports range from booking with a writing tutor to curated learn-on-your-own materials. After reviewing the Writing Centre resources, students complete a brief (5-15 minute) web-quest scavenger hunt to test their knowledge of the Writing Centre. By the end of this module, students should be familiar with the available resources and confident in accessing them.
