The Writing Centre offers writing peer tutors for select courses. Writing peer tutors are current Red River College Polytechnic students who have excelled in writing-based courses and been recommended by their instructors to tutor students. All writing peer tutors have completed the courses in which they are tutoring and the writing peer tutor training course. The benefit to meeting with a peer tutor is the tutor is familiar with the types of writing assignments you may be asked to complete, familiar with the course content, and with the instructors.
