Anti-Racism Resources from Other Canadian Campuses

Canadian Campuses have worked hard to curate resources to educate people regarding anti-racism and ways to support marginalized groups. The list below is not exhaustive and may have some overlap with our own, but their emphasis on some key issues made their inclusion worth mentioning.

Ryerson University
A Compilation by the Office of the Vice-President, Equity and Community Inclusion of Ryerson University includes links to a discussion on White Privilege vs White Supremacy and eLearning from the Ontario Human Rights Commisson.
The University of British Columbia
The Univesity of British Columbia's Department of Asian Studies put together this wide-ranging list from China's treatment of Urgury Muslims, the reemergence of Anti-Asian racism during COVID19, and Black Lives Matter.
University of Waterloo
The Equity Office of the University of Waterloo created these anti-racism resources as part of their mandate to 'facilitate understanding and address systemic barriers to equity, inclusion, and decolonization. '

A collection of resources curated by the Univesity of Manitoba libraries. While most require an institutional login, of particular interest are the PDF version of the guide for later reference and the external links section.

Founded and run by experienced diversity and inclusion practitioners, CCDI’s focus is on practical sustainable solutions that help employers move toward true inclusion.
Canadian Museum for Human Rights
Located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, the Canadian Museum for Human Rights is the first museum solely dedicated to the evolution, celebration and future of human rights.
Canadian Race Relations Foundation
The Canadian Race Relations Foundation is Canada's leading agency dedicated to the elimination of racism and all forms of racial discrimination in Canadian society.
Centre for Race and Culture
The Centre for Race and Culture brings together people with an interest in promoting and supporting individual, collective, and systemic change to address racism and encourage intercultural understanding.
The Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) Project
The BIPOC Project aims to build authentic and lasting solidarity among Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC), in order to undo Native invisibility, anti-Blackness, dismantle white supremacy and advance racial justice.
We Are
The purpose of We Are is to equip students, parents, and educators with the knowledge and skills necessary to understand the complexity of racism and to extend anti-racist education.
