In order to borrow materials, RRC Polytech students, staff and associate members must have a valid college photo ID card, issued from the Student Service Centre. Other borrowers are required to fill in a Patron Association Form and have current identification at one of the RRC Polytech Library locations. A borrowing card will be issued.
Please note: Patrons who are not current RRC Polytech students or staff have limited access to library materials and services; only physical books and journals may be borrowed.

Automatic Renewals – are enabled for RRC staff and students. Books and journals will automatically renew on the due date until the limit for renewals is reached.
Items with requests cannot be renewed and may be recalled before the due date. Patrons will receive an email if their item is recalled.
Library borrowers are responsible for any loss or damage to materials borrowed on their card.
Failure to return items or to pay replacement costs for lost items will result in suspension of library privileges. Grades, certificates and transcripts will be withheld by the Registrar until Library accounts are settled.
Late fines are charged only for reserve items, overdue requested items, and Interlibrary Loans. See the rates below.
Maximum fine: $25.00 per item for Red River College Polytechnic materials. (Excludes Interlibrary Loan items)
Renewals are allowed for all materials provided there is no request on the item. Reserve items cannot be renewed. Renewals may not be available for material received on Interlibrary Loan.
A request may be placed on an item that is out on loan, or available in the library. Requests can be picked up, mailed, or limited amounts can be digitized and sent by email. You will be contacted when the item becomes available.
To protect the privacy rights of Library users, information regarding individual borrowers may not be disclosed.
