Linking and Embedding Online Video
Video can be a powerful tool in online learning and instruction. Streaming videos are copyright material but videos that are openly available online through YouTube or as part of websites that do not require a subscription to view can be embedded and linked to as part of learn course and viewed openly by students.
For instructors who wish to embed videos as part of their course please consider reviewing this instructional video.
Using Library Video Resources
The library is additionally home to video databases and content that can be linked to and viewed by our students and staff as the subscription services are paid by the college without any copyright concerns. Do you have a title to recommend for our collection? Use the Suggest a Purchase form to suggest a book video or journal.
Commercial Streaming Services
Commercial streaming services that are not subscribed to by the college cannot be openly viewed as part of a course unless the student is required to have a personal subscription to a specific streaming service as part of the course to view videos independently.
