RefWorks (Software Instruction)

RefWorks online software simplifies the process of research, collaboration, data organization, and writing by providing an easy-to-use tool for citation, bibliography, and reference management. Learn how to build a collection of references.

Create a new RefWorks account


1. Go to the RefWorks website (click link below):Click "Create Account"




2. Click Create Account. (Do not use "Login from my institution")







Enter College email address; Click "Check"


3. Enter your college email address.
    Students --
    Staff --


    Click Check.




Enter password; Click "Sign up"




4. Create a password
    passwords must be at least 6 characters long and can only contain letters
    (upper and lowercase) and numbers. No special characters, ex #, &, !


   Click Sign Up.








Check college email for Activation Link


5. Check your email for the activation confirmation link.

You should now be ready to start using RefWorks!
